1. Lavender (lavandula angustifolia) is very popular and versatile. It has a calming scent that is renowned for its ability to promote relaxation and restful sleep. It is also great for children. Lavender is good for the elasticity and natural defenses of the skin. It is an antiseptic and protects the skin from infections, eczema and fights psoriasis by smoothing the scaly appearance that psoriasis gives the skin. Lavender soothes and heal the skin. It is also good a pain reliever from headaches to menstrual cramps.
